Diverse works on show

Kowhaiwhai Jug and Kowhaiwhai Bowl (2013) by glass sculptor Mike Crawford, of Nelson, are among 35 works by several prominent New Zealand artists in the diverse Review exhibition in Milford Galleries Queenstown from June 1 to 26.

Darryn George, of Christchurch, exhibiting soon at the Venice Biennale, has supplied Rarohiko (2010) in which he explores the cultural dynamics of repeated pattern. Mount Pisa (2012) by Michael Hight, of Auckland, is described as a visual poem to the unique Central Otago light and landscape.

Cosy Nook artist Nigel Brown is represented by a key work on paper called Honourable Socks (2010) and an incisive small painting, while Ann Robinson, of Waitakere, presents two major glass works.
