The former owner of a Gore child-care business has been ordered to pay an ex-employee $2400 in wages and holiday pay owed since 2018.
Ms Stewart was employed by the company as an after-school supervisor from February 2017 until February 2018.
In 2020, the ERA awarded her $15,000 for hurt and humiliation for her unjustified dismissal from the company, and $5874.90 for unpaid wages and underpayment of wages and holiday pay.
Ms Stewart lodged a personal grievance against her employer in relation to two incidents in early 2018, the first when Ferguson swore at her in front of a colleague and said: "Do us all a favour and f...... quit".
About a month later, Ferguson told her she was suspended because of an alleged complaint she had "tackled" a child.
The allegation proved to be false, but Ms Stewart decided to resign after learning that Ferguson wanted her gone.
In the latest finding, ERA chief Andrew Dallas said Ferguson had made "no attempt to comply with the authority’s determination and Ms Stewart’s attempts to recover her remedies underneath it has so far been unsuccessful."
Ferguson was personally liable, Mr Dallas said.
