Cricketers go batty on swings

England cricketer Matt Prior (pictured) and virtually all of the team were bowled over by Shotover Canyon Swing in Queenstown, so much so some of them went back for seconds.

The tourists controversially took time off in the resort at the start of their New Zealand tour before performing poorly in the first test in Dunedin.

A total of five thrill-seeking cricketers plus members of the camp, including the trainer and psychologist, took the plunge on a variety of swings.

Then days later another five cricketers booked swings, captain Alastair Cook and bowler Steven Finn using the opportunity to have another go.
