Dunedin hairdresser Emma Rastrick has bravely decided to take on World Fitness Centre's TribeFIT training programme with the aim of getting in shape in just six weeks.
Week 1 Day 2: This time I made sure I was going to be the first one to arrive for my workout to avoid turning up late and embarrassing myself like on my first session, and I did! I was so excited that I woke up at 2.30am!

Another hard core workout.
This time it was more difficult because I had quite a lot of muscle soreness from Monday's session and I felt it straight away...it was tough.
We started with skipping:
• 100 reps
• 150 reps
• 200 reps
Then we did the whole thing over again...my legs were ruined and did the good old spaghetti leg shuffle a few times.
I'm still burning from Monday's torture session.
We did ‘ball-walls' which is where you squat down with the ball come back up and throw it against the wall as explosively as you can.

After that we did box jumps and press-ups. I kept collapsing doing face plants with my lack of upper body strength. I felt like my muscles didn't want to work anymore! By the end of the skipping, I couldn't co-ordinate my legs and the rope together!
Complete EXHAUSTION!
Apparently mind over matter, so I still have a long way to go. As I said, this workout was tough but even more so because of the fact that my muscles were so sore still from Monday. At the end I was shagged, my legs were on fire, my hair was a matted mess but at the end I felt great again with my whole body buzzing with energy... a crazy feeling.
The girls were great again with their encouragement and it's something that I really enjoyed. I'm tired so I'll wrap this post up and I eagerly await my next workout (shudder).
See you guys in the next session!
