Topics were propagation, cloud pruning, bonsai and garden art.
One of the most popular was held at the Dunedin Botanic Garden’s propagation unit. There, propagation expert Alice Lloyd-Fitt taught DGC members the best ways to sow seeds and take cuttings.
At all the workshops, attendees were able to take home their efforts and DGC president Midge Ruka admitted to having two juniper trees from her cloud-pruning efforts.
The bonsai and the art workshops were also very successful, Ms Ruka said.
‘‘It was well worth holding these workshops’’
