The Otago University Students' Association (OUSA) donated the more than $4000 it raised from its international cultural night to Otago Community Hospice yesterday.
OUSA yesterday handed over a cheque for $4272.71 to the hospice, which included the money raised at its international cultural night in July and a donation from ANZ.
OUSA international officer Yee Min Chua said the cultural night had been a success and showed how important OUSA's international clubs were.
"It's a great way of showing Dunedin our range of cultures and raising money for a great cause," she said.
About 700 people attended the cultural night, which included 12 OUSA-affiliated clubs and societies.
