A man who allegedly threatened a 13-year-old girl with an iron bar at a Sydney school is under police guard in hospital.
Police say they used capsicum spray and a Taser to subdue the man after he went to a school on Abbott Road in Harbord, on Sydney's northern beaches, where he threatened the girl about 2.30pm (local time) today.
When they tried to arrest him he turned on them, allegedly hitting an officer and biting his arm.
After being brought under control the man was arrested and taken to hospital for treatment.
