Poised to provide power

    The barge Patiki arrives in Dunedin to lay underwater power cables linking Port Chalmers and Portobello.

    Aurora Energy is installing two new submarine cables, replacing an overhead line and an ageing submarine cable.

    The harbour crossing upgrade is expected to cost between $5million and $7million.
