Erakovic and first-time partner Heather Watson from Britain required an hour and 48 minutes to defeat the top-seeded combination of Vania King (United States) and Jarmila Gajdosova (Australia) 7-5 7-6(7).
The win gives Erakovic her sixth career WTA doubles title, with her most recent success coming in October last year.
Erakovic now plays another US$740,000 WTA event at Carlsbad, California. She faces Britain's Anne Keothavong in the first round of singles.
The 24-year-old is building up for the Olympic tournament at Wimbledon later in the month.
