International fare much enjoyed

New Zealand’s international borders may still be closed due to Covid-19, but there was certainly no shortage of international cuisine at the Otago University Students’ Association event.

OUSA marketing and communications manager Ingrid Roding said the 19 food stalls were hosted by a range of its affiliated clubs.

"There was a really nice representation across the clubs from Vietnam, China, Japan, Cambodia, South Africa, Philippines ... It was really a beautiful afternoon."

The public event ran from 4pm to 7.30pm, but by 7pm most of the stalls had run out of food, Ms Roding said.

"They did really well ... We had an amazing turnout."
