The Angus Beaton fundraiser on Saturday night raised $42,000 for the Beaton family, who are in Christchurch with their son Angus, who was diagnosed with cancer in April.
The fundraiser was put together by the Arrowtown preschool, primary school and general community and has run in conjunction with several other fundraising efforts.
