Rugby: McCaw a chance for Waratahs match

The Crusaders will make a decision today on whether Richie McCaw plays against the Waratahs on Sunday.

McCaw is in line for his first Super Rugby match of the year after having surgery following the Rugby World Cup final.

Coach Todd Blackadder says they will assess McCaw today.

He says the star No 7 must be ready for 80 minutes so will have a fitness test today to confirm whether he's available.

If McCaw passes the fitness test it's likely he will be named on the bench.
