Stalls offering "elegant junk", secondhand books, magazines, DVDs, CDs, jewellery and toys will be operating in the grounds of St Peter's Church from 9am to noon.
The Rt Rev Dr David Coles, vicar of the Wakatipu Anglican Parish, said this week tough economic times did not stop the community from having fun while trying to raise money for parish projects and the maintenance of heritage buildings in Queenstown and Arrowtown.
The first significant renovation of the vestry since the church was built in 1932 cost the parish $16,000 this month.
"There will be lots of great stalls, with special stalls for kids, face painting, toys, bling, accessories as well as the popular cake stall, which always sells out early," Dr Coles said.
"There are great jams and pickles and preserves as well as sausages sizzling on the barbecue. You can enjoy a traditional Devonshire tea or a coffee and great food.
"Garden lovers can buy a great range of plants, and fresh cut flowers from local gardens will be available."
The Arrow Miners Band and other Wakatipu musicians are expected to perform for the family-friendly event.
