Nomad Safaris has been named Operator of the Year in the 2011 APT Supplier of the Year awards.
The annual accolades were measured on feedback from clients, tour managers and operations staff, as well as management communication and assistance from each supplier.
Nomad Safaris co-owner David Gatward-Ferguson told the Queenstown Times the company previously won the Operator of the Year award in 2004 and the recognition meant a great deal.
The Hotel of the Year, Premier Plus Tour award was won by Te Waonui Forest Retreat, Franz Josef Glacier.
Hotel of the Year, Premier Tour went to Holiday Inn Rotorua, while Hotel of the Year, Affordable Series was won by Lake Ohau Lodge.
