Perfect day for a wetland tour

Some of the 60 people who braved wet weather yesterday get a close-up look at the Takitakitoa Wetland, on the lower Taieri.

The Otago Fish & Game Council guided tour aimed to showcase one of the organisation’s biggest wetland restoration projects to date, and coincided with international World Wetlands Day, Fish & Game officer Nigel Pacey said.
