Making sure his family is ready for Christmas

Archer Miller is counting the days to Christmas.He was among children taking part in a Christmas event at the Invercargill Library yesterday.

The 2-year-old loves the holiday season so much he has been organising his house to prepare for Santa’s arrival.

"Me and mum will make cookies for Santa this weekend and pick some apples for the reindeer."

Archer said his mother Maria Ryan helped him to write a letter before sending it to the North Pole. The youngster has asked for a fork-lift for Christmas.

At the event children had the opportunity to play in a themed photo booth, sing Christmas songs and make craft decorations.
