Police are concerned about the brazenness of an intruder who tied up a 19-year-old woman in her home and burgling it while her family slept upstairs.
The man broke into the property in the Auckland suburb of Remuera about 4.30am today, tied up the woman and stole a laptop, jewellery and a bicycle, which he used to flee.
Police said they were concerned about the confidence in the man's offending, and the amount of planning he appeared to have done.
