New Zealand freeskiers Jossi Wells and Rose Battersby both earned podium spots in the big air competition at Cardrona Alpine Resort on Saturday.
Competition among the world's top freeskiers was hot, with double cork 10s and 12s the call of the day.
The men's final was dominated by United States athletes, with Joss Christensen pulling off the first double misty 12 in competition and consistently landing his tricks, earning him first place.
Second was 15-year-old Kai Mahler, of Switzerland, the leader going into the final round with the best trick of the day, a switch double misty 1440. He failed to land his jumps in the final round of competition, costing him the gold.
Hometown boy Jossi Wells followed up his silver medals in both slopestyle and halfpipe earlier this week, his fluidity and control earning him third place.
In the women's field, AFP overall world champion Devin Logan scored a treble, winning all three freeski events, halfpipe, slopestyle and big air.
America's Jen Hudak finished second, while the promising Battersby, of Taupo, made the podium for the first time at an international event, finishing third.
