A drone's eye view captures the continuing progress on the High St co-housing project in Dunedin.

Construction of walls has continued and a few weeks earlier, polystyrene floor insulation was laid for the units on the corner of Alva St.

The first sods of earth were turned in November last year.

Formerly the site of High Street School, the property was bought by Urban Co-housing Otepoti Ltd in 2013 with the aim of creating an inter-generational co-housing neighbourhood built on ecological values and encouraging social interaction.

The aim is to provide more than 60 residents with shared spaces and 22 units.
