Two more teams have secured a spot in the playoffs with a round remaining in the Dunedin Premier rugby competition.
Taieri posted a tense 23-18 win against Harbour at Peter Johnstone Park this afternoon to book a semifinal appearance.
The Hawks, who have already qualified, won the collisions but Taieri was more organised out wide. Late tries to the midfield combination of Matt Whaanga and William Ngatai helped seal the win.
University prevailed 28-27 in a tight encounter with Kaikorai at Bishopscourt and will also feature in the playoffs. In the other match Southern beat Zingari-Richmond 48-32 at Bathgate Park.
