7pm: All Shook Up male lead James Stephenson (25) sings and plays piano for the relaunch of the Friday Jazz Club, in Les Alpes. Free.

10pm: Subculture presents Crunkbox, the heaviest in hip-hop, house and dubstep, with a theatrical light show. Door sales $10 before midnight.

TOMORROW

10pm: Queenstown's own beats collective Pass the Sauce entertain at Dux de Lux. Free.

10pm: New Zealand drum 'n' bass and dubstep galore in Organikismness, in Subculture. Door sales $10.
