Neptune swimmers Erika Fairweather and Caitlin Deans both claimed seconds on the first day of the meeting in Auckland on Monday.
Fifteen-year-old Fairweather swam a time of 26.17sec to take silver in the 50m freestyle, setting new Otago age-group and open records in the process.
That left her nearly half a second clear of third-placed Paige Flynn, although she was unable to beat out Capital's Chelsea Edwards - who won in 25.88sec.
Later in the evening, Deans grabbed silver in the 1500m freestyle.
Her time of 16min 58.13sec left her well inside the medals, although a way back from Capital's Emma Robinson, who took gold in 16min 41.74sec.
Jessica Scott (Neptune) finished eighth in the 50m butterfly, her time of 28.36sec breaking the Otago 16 girls and open records.
She finished fourth in last night's 200m butterfly final in a time of 2min 20.81sec, a mere 1.87sec off a podium spot.
Meanwhile, Katie Short (Zenith) was sixth in the para 50m freestyle and 100m backstroke races.
Kiwi's Madison Wills showed her versatility to finish fifth in last night's 400m IM final in a time of 5min 7.3sec.
