Students can look forward to five concerts in July, including 23-year-old Mitch James who was the opening act for Ed Sheeran at the Forsyth Barr Stadium last year, duo Sachi, UK DJ Upgrade with Lee Mvtthews, and Kiwi electronica musician Baynk.
Reorientation will run from July 10 to July 21, and Skegss would probably be the highlight, events organiser Jason Schroeder said.
''I'm really excited to see Skegss. They are really good.''
The venues for the event were the OUSA main common room, and the Dunedin Town Hall.
Drug testers KnowYourStuff would also be returning to the university at the invitation of OUSA, for the third time this year - the second time being the Hyde St Party.
''We haven't finalised what we are doing for the rest of Orientation - at this stage, it's a work in progress,'' Mr Schroeder said.
The event was following formats from previous years, he said.
Exams for the first semester end on June 19 this year, and are followed by a two-week break before classes resume on July 8.
