A man has suffered critical injuries in an accident at a rural property in the Catlins.
A police spokeswoman said they were called about noon to Chloris Pass Rd in the Owaka Valley after the ''workplace incident'' today.
Worksafe had been advised, she said.
St John spokesman Gerard Campbell said one person was transported by Otago Regional Rescue Helicopter to Dunedin Hospital in a critical condition.
