The school hall was awash with colour and sound as hundreds of pupils dressed in international costumes tasted food from different countries.
The school’s international student co-ordinator Sarah Ferguson said she wanted to thank the school community, who "really came to the party".
"The day is to celebrate the ethnic richness in our school — to make everyone feel welcome and valued."
She said the day was organised by year 8 international ambassadors, who were appointed at the start of the year to "develop their leadership skills, by supporting our students who do not speak English as their first language".
Pupil Sylvia Niccol said International Day was "a really nice way for people in the school to come together and really enjoy everybody’s traditions and cultures".
