Police are investigating reports a man "touched himself inappropriately" beside a female in the Dunedin Public Library yesterday afternoon.
A spokeswoman said police were following lines of inquiry to identify the man and had offered support to the victim, along with library staff.
Police did not respond when asked whether the incident was believed to be linked to reports of a man masturbating at the Tennis Otago courts, on the Logan Park sports fields, this morning.
