Nazi iconography etched into a Corstorphine car was one of two overnight incidents reported to police today.
Acting Senior Sergeant Trevor Thomson, of Dunedin, said an offender scored swastikas into the driver- and passenger-side doors of a Toyota hatchback parked in Middleton Rd.
Over the hill in East Taieri, a burglar entered a tool shed and took two Stihl chainsaws and two Paslode nail guns, Snr Sgt Thomson said.
At the weekend, three chainsaws were also stolen from a High St property in Dunedin during the day on Sunday.
