A woman sustained moderate injuries in a paddle boarding incident on the Clutha River near Wanaka today.
Emergency services were called to to Hikuwai Dr near Albert Town about 4pm.
A helicopter was dispatched and the woman was flown to Dunedin Hospital.
The woman was on a commercial paddle boarding tour when she got into trouble on the water.
St John and Wanaka Volunteer Fire Brigade also attended.
