The stable won the Central Otago Cup (Cullen's Creek), Northern Southland and Amberley Cups (Raglan) and Gore Cup (Centreofattention) at this time last year.
Choise Achiever, who led for most of the way to win at Rangiora yesterday, has the Amberley Cup on January 3 as his next assignment.
"He will then go to the Pelorus Classic at Blenheim which will be a big test against the likes of Smiling Shard," Tim Butt said. It was the eighth win for Choise Achiever in 11 starts. He has won four of his five starts this season following a soft palate operation.
Hostile Grins, who overcame an early tangle to win the Wairio Cup, will probably mark time until the Marlborough Cup on January 16. It was the fifth win for Hostile Grins in 12 starts and his second in six starts since he was bought by Paul Montgomery, of Queensland from Tim Butt in June.
The Butt stable also won with Thanesan and Charger yesterday.
Thanesan, having his first start, is a 3yr-old trotter by Sundon and the first foal of Farisa, an unraced half-sister by Chiola Hanover to seven winners including Genius (24 wins), Noam (1.56) and Bizness.
He is raced by Butt's mother Jenny and Don McKenzie, of Rangiora. They bred Thanesan and also Vulcan, the Harness Jewels winner, from the family.
Farisa qualified as a trotter when tried by Dick Prendergast.
Charger is a 3yr-old by Christian Cullen from Birchbrook raced by Peter and Joan Cocks, of West Melton and their daughter, Sheryll.
Peter and Joan Cocks raced Tribute from the Butt stable.
Tribute won 16 races including the 2004 Sires' Stakes Final, Kindergarten Stakes and Ashburton Flying Stakes.
The entire has been leased to Brent and Sheree McIntyre at Macca Lodge but has proven a shy breeder.
Birchbrook, the dam of Charger, is a winning half-sister by Soky's Atom to Tribute and Hoon Hay and sister to Pentium (Kindergarten Stakes).
Hoon Hay won four races for the the same owners before being leased to Sydney.
"We have bought them as youngsters from breeders David Butt and Steven Hooper," Joan Cocks said.
Raglan and Centreofattention are due back in training at the end of next month. Raglan has been treated for a virus and Centreofattention has had a quarter crack.

The winner of 32 races and $1,098,007 for Waimate owners Lex and Heather Williams, One Over Kenny has been sent to Woodlands Stud to be served by Pegasus Spur.
A mare carrying an embryo transplant by Majestic Son from One Over Kenny, is due to foal at the end of the month.
One Over Kenny won her first start as a 2yr-old at Alexandra Park in 2004 when trained by Phil Williamson, who won 24 races with the Sundon mare.
Those wins included the New Zealand Trotting Oaks, Great Northern Trotting Derby, The Holmfield, 2007 Australasian Trotting Championship, 2007 Rowe Cup and National Trot.
She repeated her Rowe Cup win in 2009 when trained by Tony Herlihy, who won a National Trot and New Zealand Trotting Championship with One Over Kenny.
