Hordes of University of Otago students are gathering outside Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin ahead of the annual O Week toga party.
Several groups were chanting proudly for their halls of residence while they thronged outside in the wet and cold Dunedin weather before the gates opened.
Over a thousand people decked out in their best white bed sheets and plastic ivy will pack into the stadium for the event which kicks off just after 8pm this evening.
A big security presence and a team of police were at the event to make sure things went smoothly.
