Models dressed in Emily's Silkbody clothing and adorned in Tamsin's Tamsin Cooper jackets and accessories, will strut down the 110m catwalk at the Dunedin Railway Station during shows on April 8 and 9.
Emily was "really excited" about collaborating with her sister and believed their labels complemented each other nicely.
While Tamsin Cooper has appeared in iD before, it will be Silkbody's first showing and Emily was "really flattered" to feature alongside about 20 other established and emerging designers during the highlight of the fashion week.
iD Fashion Committee chairwoman Susie Staley said there had been an "unprecedented response" from designers wanting to be part of the event, with twice as many applications received as places available.
"The shows will feature a hotbed of talented New Zealand designers, who all stock in local Dunedin retail outlets," she said.
The shows will feature high-profile labels showcasing their winter collections including Nom*D, Carlson, Mild Red, Charmaine Reveley, Twenty-seven names and Company of Strangers, alongside Wellington-based designer Lela Jacobs.
New to iD will be renowned Auckland-based footwear designer Kathryn Wilson, following her recent debut at New Zealand Fashion Week.
Eight mini collections from Elusiv, DADA, Vaughan Geeson, Lou and Ash, Richard Moore (formerly label Dot Com), Maaike (Abbey van Schreven), and Katie-maree Cole, will also show.
Completing the line-up of designers will be the best of the 2010 Otago Polytechnic School of Fashion graduates, and winners from the 2011 iD International Emerging Designer Awards show.
iD Dunedin Fashion Week will take place from April 5 to 10 next year.
