The forum, led by TIA advocacy manager Geoff Ensor, aims to support operators with a pre-season check list, covering risk and safety management and discussions around the five industry principles which underpin safe adventure operations.
They are reliable and safe communication, standard operating procedures, training and checking, working safety reporting systems and culture and leadership.
The first adventure tourism forum, held last November, discussed the adventure tourism review.
This year Mr Ensor's presentation will also cover the outcomes of that review and how it could affect local operators.
"As a world-leading adventure tourism destination which attracts hundreds of thousands of thrill seekers every year, Queenstown needs to have a collective and strategic approach to managing the associated risk," he said.
"The objective of the forum is to co-ordinate Queenstown's adventure operators and related agencies so everyone is fully updated on quality assurance and operational safety.
"It's crucial everyone has effective plans in place and has a full understanding of the responsibilities and limits of the agencies involved," Mr Quickfall said.
The forum will be held at the Queenstown Memorial Hall on November 10, from 6.30pm to 9pm.
