Mr Evans has drawn on his experiences with about 40 start-up companies during the past eight years in an effort to target an audience ranging from would-be entrepreneurs, students, other incubators around the country and parents, drawing on examples from the experiences of real companies.
"The book is about what actually happens; it is not about the research and the theories of an academic," Mr Evans said.
He described the text as "brief, pithy and to the point" in order to outline the paths to success or failure for entrepreneurs.
