Three-car crash in South Dunedin

Emergency services were called to a three-car crash in South Dunedin which blocked part of Macandrew Rd this afternoon.

The crash happened about 3.20pm on the corner of Macandrew Rd and Surrey St and involved a late model Lexus SUV, a taxi and a commercial vehicle.

A police spokeswoman said there were no injuries, but two people were described as being in shock.

Tow trucks were sent to the scene to help clear the road.
