A five car nose to tail crash on Dunedin's Southern Motorway backed up traffic this morning.
A police spokesman said they were called to the crash at the Fairfield on-ramp at 7.19am this morning.
Five cars were involved in the crash, which blocked the northbound section of the on-ramp for a time.
It did not appear anyone was injured in the crash.
