Work to dewater and secure the development site, from where a landslip occurred, is continuing more than four weeks after the event.
Marina Terrace spokesman Matt Tuck said he could not provide much information about the slip as it was now a matter for lead contractor Southern JVG and its insurance company.
A significant amount of dewatering work had occurred at the site since the slip on September 8, Mr Tuck said.
"Contractors were still carrying out remedial work with the Queenstown Lakes District Council to secure the site," he said.
"The QLDC have been excellent and we are working with them to make sure everything with the site is on track.
"They have also been overseeing the work of the contractors and are very happy with it."
QLDC communications adviser Jimmy Sygrove said the council continued to investigate whether the site’s resource consent was followed but there were no other updates.
