The Tarras Young Farmer Club is reforming, more than 20 years after it disbanded.
A meeting to restart the club will be held on July 27.
Tarras farmer Jonny Trevathan said the meeting at the Tarras Hall would be open to anyone who was interested in joining or being involved in the club.
It will be run as a club of the New Zealand Young Farmer (NZYF) organisation.
NZYF South Island regional development officer Duncan Trotter said club members could enter the annual National Bank Young Farmer Contest, which will be held in Ashburton and Methven this year from today.
They could also attend farm and industry visits, district, regional and national organisation events, and social activities.
Members could apply for Lincoln University scholarships and international exchanges.
