Land acquisition deals for roading purposes - at Malaghans Rd and Little Rd and on the Crown Range Rd - have been approved by the Queenstown Lakes District Council.
The land acquired for Malaghans Rd, near Queenstown, and Little Rd, near Arrowtown, will be incorporated into a physical road realignment.
The deal will result in $29,748 being paid in compensation to Northridge Investments Ltd, Clive Harcourt Manners-Wood, Shotover Hamlet Investments Ltd, Mount Field Ltd and Ducks In A Row Ltd.
The land acquired for the Crown Range Rd will also be applied to realignment and results in $38,903.50 in compensation being paid to Main Frame Ltd, Peter R Clarke, Alison Stretch, Christine Gibb and David Stretch, Waitipu Ltd and Bringans Consultants Ltd.
The Crown Range Road land acquisition is for public works completed in 2009 on the section of road just above the zigzag near Arrowtown.
