Repertory look at love
The Dunedin Repertory Society's latest production is an earthy comedy that takes a lingering look at love.
Love or Nearest Offer examines the popularity of dating agencies in modern times.
The play features Janice Snowden, Bert Nisbet, Denise Casey, Graham Wilson, Bernie Crayston, Mike Crowl and Rosemary Richards and is directed by Natalie Ellis.
The play opens at the Playhouse on Saturday and runs until May 15.

New Burdon exhibition
Bendigo artist Shaun Burdon unveils an exhibition in Queenstown tomorrow.
The show continues Burdon's study of the figure as a medium for the universal aspects of the human condition.
"Starting from a collection of shop mannequins and things found round the countryside, I have assembled them in various ways, combining my fascination with the antique, the primitive, drawing and applying paint," he says.
The exhibition opens at Artbay Gallery tomorrow and runs till May 20.
The gallery is on level one of the Mountaineer Building in Queenstown.
Exploration of landscapes
Dunedin artist Rob Piggott continues to explore landscapes in his latest exhibition, "Landmarks II".
The exhibition is a series of abstract works in which Piggott shares his experiences and memories of the natural New Zealand environment.
"Landmarks II" opens at Rocda Gallery at 5.30pm on Monday and runs until May 22.
A world of photograms
Waitati photographer Jacob Feenstra exposes the world of photograms at an exhibition opening tomorrow.
"Subject to Change" is something of a retrospective for the Dutch-born photographer, covering new works, old works and a series of paintings.
A photogram is a photographic image made without camera or film.
It is usually produced in a darkroom by exposing an object placed on photo-sensitive paper to light.
"Subject to Change" opens at 6pm tomorrow at Gallery on Blueskin and runs till May 30.
Deadline extended
The Wanaka Arts Charitable Trust has extended the deadline for submissions for "Sculpture in Central Otago 2011" by two weeks, until May 14.

Art school public address
The Otago Polytechnic School of Art is seeking to unite the local arts community.
School head Prof Leoni Schmidt will present a public address next week, "Art School and Cultural Community", covering initiatives likely to have implications for the cultural life of the city.
"This is an opportunity for people involved with, or interested in, the School of Art to gather together for future collaborations, critical discussions, shared visions and joint enterprises," Prof Schmidt says.
"Our art school is now inviting all interested parties in the arts orbit to join in conversations as to how we can serve and support one another, especially within the context of Dunedin and our local combined Kai Tahu runaka."
The free address, which will be followed by refreshments and an informal discussion, will be held from 5pm to 6pm next Wednesday, May 12, in lecture theatre P152 at the Dunedin School of Art.
Mural in tunnel
Otakou artist Kate Williamson has taken art underground with a mural in a tunnel at Taiaroa Head.
The 40m-long mural inside a tunnel leading to the Armstrong disappearing gun features flora and fauna from around the area.
Williamson started the work three months ago in a tunnel built 20 years ago.
