Dunedin Police are looking for a man after a Kaan's Catering Supplies delivery truck was taken in broad daylight on Saturday.
Senior Sergeant Ed Baker said a lean man wearing a dark hat, dark top and dark pants, took the white Isuzu truck while the driver was making a delivery at Abbey College, in Castle St, North Dunedin.
The incident happened about 10am.
Witnesses said they saw the man reverse the truck into a power pole, Snr Sgt Baker said.
The truck was recovered with a dint and broken window but the man has not been located.
