It was held in the Wall Street Mall in Dunedin on Saturday evening to help raise awareness for mental health.
All profits were going to the Life Matters Suicide Prevention Trust.
Organiser and Otago Polytechnic student Ms Vickery said the event, her debut fashion show, was "very surreal" and full of a lot of emotions.
"I haven’t quite come down from it yet, I don’t think, but the fatigue has definitely set in."
She planned to hold a similar event again next year.
While the total amount raised was yet to be finalised, Ms Vickery estimated it had made at least $8500 from door sales and a raffle alone.
The event was granted a one-off liquor licence by Dunedin’s district licensing committee on Friday, despite opposition from police and the licensing inspector over the links between alcohol consumption and suicide.
