Emergency services were called to the fire about 8.30pm on Tulls Rd.
The fire had spread about 30m down the hedge line.
Crews from Woodend, Rangiora, Waikuku Beach and Pines Beach attended.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman Andrew Norris said the fire was not being treated as suspicious.
