One person was seriously injured in a three-vehicle crash on a North Canterbury bridge on Wednesday.
Police said the collision happened on State Highway 1 on the bridge over the Kowai River in the Amberley area about 2.50pm.
SH1 was re-opened last night.
One person was transported by helicopter to Christchurch Hospital in a serious condition.
The serious crash unit attended and investigations into the crash are ongoing.
