Beef + Lamb has launched a scholarship aiming to support the next generation of leaders in the sector.
National Extension programme manager Olivia Weatherburn said in a statement that the rural leadership advancement scholarship would sponsor two sheep and beef farmers to participate in the Kellogg Rural Leadership Programme in 2025.
Each successful candidate will be paired with a Beef + Lamb New Zealand mentor.
Applications close at 5pm on October 7.
