The Southland Arable Hub is set to host a pre-harvest trials tour and growers leading change discussion meeting.
Speakers include Jono and John Gardyne on a barley cultivar performance trial and Hew Dalrymple about his GLC Pathfinder farm journey and the measuring and mapping soil variability with an economic approach.
Another highlight would be a look at the grower-focused wheat and barley trials.
The tour at the hub in Whiterig Rd, Knapdale runs between 2.30pm and 4.30pm on December 11.
