Several people have been taken to hospital after a three-vehicle crash on State Highway 1 south of Christchurch.
A police spokesperson said they were called to the crash scene on Main South Rd, near Burnham, about 12.10pm on Friday.
Hato Hato St John told chrislynchmedia.com three patients were transported to Christchurch Hospital with moderate injuries.
