A driver was left with moderate injures after a truck rolled in the Clutha District this evening.
Emergency services responded to a single-vehicle crash near the settlement of Warepa at about 5.45pm today.
A police spokeswoman said a silage truck had rolled on Old Port Rd, between Croydon and Jacks Hill Rds, trapping the vehicle's single occupant.
A Fire and Emergency NZ spokeswoman said two crews from Balclutha and one from Milton were sent to the scene.
Several fire crews were required to free the driver and a heavy tow was required to move the vehicle.
A Hato Hone St John spokesman said the driver received moderate injuries.
A helicopter had landed at the scene but was not required and the patient was transported by ambulance to Balcultha.
