A pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle near Burwood Hospital in Christchurch.
Emergency services were called to the incident on Mairehau Rd about 4pm on Thursday.
Hato Hone St John sent an ambulance to the scene and transported one person to Christchurch Hospital in a serious condition.
