A person has been taken to hospital after sustaining serious injuries after a car crash near Rolleston.
The two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Maddisons and Curraghs Rds was reported to police at 8:25 on Tuesday morning.
St John spokesman Gerard Campbell said the crash left one of the people seriously injured.
They were taken to Christchurch Hospital.
