Hosts John Campbell, Hayley Holt, Jenny-May Clarkson and Matty McLean will be at the Bridge of Remembrance on Oxford Tce to film the daily morning show from 6am.
They plan to meet past and present New Zealander of the Year local hero award winners from Canterbury and "see the difference everyday New Zealanders make in their communities".
They will be travelling throughout the country this week in the lead up to the awards gala in Auckland on February 20.
